Vitasta Heritage Cultural Artists are a group of displaced, migrant, Kashmiri Pundit women, located in Jagti Migrant camp in Jammu. They are proficient in performing scared and traditional, Henze, vanvun, folk and ritualistic singing for marriages and other special occasions. They have revived the traditional ‘Vanvun’ learning painstakingly from Shri Pushkar Nath Raina an ardent revivalist of the ancient Kashmiri culture and traditions. At the same time, they can perform lively dances accompanied by cheerful singing for marriages and other joyful occasions.
